Christmas Tree Coloring Page Maker

Choose the tree style, ornaments and gifts, add a banner message, and print.

This free Christmas tree coloring page maker draws a tree you can color, print, or use as a template, all inside your web browser. There is no sign-up, and nothing is uploaded or sent to a server. Each picture is drawn by the site’s own code when you press a button, so nothing is copied from an image collection.

Use the results as a Christmas tree coloring sheet for children, a Christmas tree coloring template for a classroom, or a Christmas tree outline printable for crafts. You choose the tree style, the number of tiers, the ornaments, the gifts, and an optional banner. Then you print the page or download it as a PDF, PNG, or SVG file. Because every design is different, you can keep pressing for a new xmas tree coloring page until one suits you.

Can I get a plain Christmas tree outline template for crafts?

Yes. Set Tree style to Outline (craft) to get one clean tree silhouette with a trunk and no decorations. You can trace it onto green card, cut it out for a window decoration, glue on paper ornaments, or use it as a card front. Without ornaments, garland, gifts, or snow, the shape stays simple enough to cut around.

How do I add a name or message?

Type up to 30 characters into Banner text, such as “Merry Christmas, Emma”. The text is drawn as outline letters inside a banner at the bottom, and this works on the outline style too. For a blank line to write on, turn on Add a name line under Page settings, which adds a “Name: ____” line at the bottom. Title on the page adds large outline letters at the top, so you can use it together with the banner.

How many ornaments and presents can I add?

The Ornaments setting has three choices: None, A few (the default), and Many. The ornaments are baubles, stars, and candy canes, and the tool places them so they never overlap each other or the edges. Gifts under the tree can be set from 0 to 5, with 3 as the default. Choosing Many gives the fullest tree, while None gives a bare one that is easier for very young children to color.

Is it free and do I need to sign up?

Yes, it is free, and you do not need to sign up. The tool runs in your web browser, so there is no account to create. Nothing you make is uploaded or sent to a server, and each picture is drawn by the site’s code when you press a button.

Can I print several different trees for a class?

Yes. Set Number of pages to any value from 1 to 30, and each page will be a different design. Print sends only the picture pages, one picture per sheet, so each student can take a different tree. If you want all the pages in one file to print later, use Download PDF, which saves them together.

Can I color it online?

Yes. Press Color it online to open the same picture in the site’s online coloring tool, so you do not need to print it first. For printed pages, match the line weight to the tools: thick lines suit young children and markers, while thin lines suit colored pencils and fine detail. Every closed shape has a white inside, so any space can be colored.

Frequently asked questions

What paper sizes can I print on?

You can choose US Letter or A4 under Page settings. You can also choose Portrait or Landscape orientation.

Which line weight should I choose?

Thick lines (about 1 mm) are easiest for young children and suit markers. Medium (about 0.6 mm) is a good middle choice. Thin lines (about 0.35 mm) suit colored pencils and fine detail.

What is the difference between Download PDF and Download PNG?

Download PDF saves all of your pages in one vector PDF, so the lines stay sharp at any size. Download PNG saves only page 1 as an image at 2550 × 3300 pixels for US Letter.

Copy link copies a web address that holds your settings and design number. Opening that address shows the same picture again.

Can I make a tree without a banner or name line?

Yes. Banner text is optional, so you can leave it empty. Add a name line and Title on the page are also optional and can be turned on or off under Page settings.

Does pressing New design change my settings?

No. New design draws a new picture with the same settings, so you can keep your tree style, tiers, and paper choices while you look for a design you like.
