Geometric Coloring Pages Maker
Pick a pattern and a shape size; the pattern fills the page edge to edge, ready to print.
This free geometric coloring pages tool makes printable pattern coloring sheets in your web browser. Choose a pattern such as hexagons, triangles, cubes or floral tiles, and the tool draws a full page with the pattern running edge to edge. No sign-up is needed, and nothing is uploaded or sent to a server. Each picture is drawn by the site’s own code when you press a button, so no images are copied from a collection.
Use it for printable geometric coloring pages for children, or for more detailed floral pattern coloring pages and flower pattern coloring pages for older colorers. Every closed shape has a white inside, so crayons, colored pencils and markers all work. You can change the shape size, line weight and paper setup, then print or download the pages.
How to make a geometric coloring page
- Choose a pattern from the pattern list. The default is Hexagons. For a fast start, pick a quick style: Floral pattern, Big shapes for kids, Star tiles or Low poly triangles.
- Set Shape size to Large – easy (cells about 44 mm), Medium (about 28 mm) or Small – detailed (about 18 mm).
- Under Page settings, choose Paper: US Letter or A4.
- Choose Orientation: Portrait or Landscape.
- Choose Line weight: Thin, Medium or Thick.
- Choose a Page border: None, Line, Rounded or Double.
- Optionally turn on Title on the page, or Add a name line.
- Set Number of pages from 1 to 30. Each page is a different design.
- Press New design (or the N key) to draw a new picture with the same settings.
- Use Print, Download PDF, Download PNG, Download SVG, Copy link or Color it online.
Print sends only the picture pages to your printer, one picture per sheet. Download PDF saves all pages in one vector file, so lines stay sharp at any size. Download PNG saves page 1 as an image at 300 dpi, and Copy link saves a web address that reopens the same settings and design.
Color it online opens the same pattern in the online coloring tool.
What are geometric coloring pages?
Geometric coloring pages are outline drawings made of repeated shapes such as triangles, hexagons, squares and circles. The shapes are arranged in a regular or semi-regular pattern, so the page looks ordered even though each space is different.
Many of these patterns are tessellations. A tessellation is a pattern of shapes that covers a surface with no gaps and no overlaps. Hexagons, triangles and the cube pattern are tessellations, which is why they look so neat when filled with color.
Which pattern is easiest for children?
For young children, start with Big shapes for kids, or choose Hexagons or Squares in squares with Shape size set to Large – easy. Large cells mean fewer spaces to color, and each space is big enough to reach without going over the lines.
Set Line weight to Thick as well. Thick outlines suit young children and markers, while thin lines suit colored pencils and fine detail. Older children can move to Small – detailed and Thin lines.
Once a page is colored, a few simple ideas make the pattern stand out. You can alternate two or three colors, shade from light to dark across the page, or color only one shape type so a hidden pattern appears. These ideas work with any pattern the tool produces.
Which patterns can the generator draw?
Eleven patterns are in the Pattern list. Triangles (low poly) draws an uneven mesh of triangles. Hexagons is a honeycomb; some pages add rings, circles or small flowers inside the cells. Cubes (isometric) is the tumbling-block pattern, where three diamonds form each cube. Squares in squares nests turned squares inside each cell. Curves (Truchet tiles) uses square tiles with quarter circles that join into long winding paths. Circles packs round shapes of different sizes, Fish scales and Waves make rows of curves, Star tiles places eight-point stars with small diamonds between them, and Floral tiles repeats a flower in a grid. Surprise pattern picks a different one for each page, which is handy for a mixed set.
Every pattern is cut cleanly at the page frame, so the shapes along the edge are complete spaces you can color, not lines running off the paper.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make every page a different pattern?
Yes. Each page in a set is a different design, so a set of 30 pages gives 30 different pictures. Set Number of pages to the count you need, then press New design to create a fresh set with the same settings.
Is it free and private?
Yes. The tool is free and needs no sign-up. It runs in your web browser, and nothing is uploaded or sent to a server.
Can I print on A4?
Yes. Under Page settings, choose A4 as the paper size, then select Print or Download PDF. Print sends only the picture pages, one picture per sheet.
What is the difference between Print and Download PDF?
Print sends the picture pages straight to your printer. Download PDF saves every page in one vector file, which you can keep, share or print later at any size.
Which line weight suits colored pencils?
Thin lines (about 0.35 mm) leave the most room inside small shapes. Choose Thick (about 1 mm) for markers or crayons.
Can I color the picture on the screen?
Yes. Press Color it online to open the same picture in the site’s online coloring tool. You can also download the page first and color it on paper.
