St Patrick's Day Coloring Pages Maker
Shamrocks, four-leaf clovers, leprechauns and pots of gold, with a greeting headline or as a folding card.
This free tool makes St. Patrick’s Day coloring pages that you can print or color on screen. It runs in your web browser, needs no sign-up, and does not upload anything you make.
The set includes shamrocks, a four-leaf clover, a leprechaun and his hat, a pot of gold, a horseshoe, gold coins and a rainbow. Every picture uses simple black outlines with white insides, so the pages suit young children and anyone who wants a quick St. Patrick’s Day coloring sheet. You can make one large picture, several pictures on one sheet, a folding card, or the whole set with one picture per page.
How to make a St. Patrick’s Day coloring page
- Open the Picture menu and choose a drawing, such as Shamrock or Pot of gold. To get a surprise, keep the default, Surprise me.
- Pick a Layout: One big picture, 2 pictures, 4 pictures, 6 pictures or Folding card.
- For one big picture, choose a Backdrop. The Clovers backdrop scatters small clovers around the picture.
- Type your own words in Headline (up to 40 characters) to replace the default “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”. Clear the Show the greeting check box if you do not want a headline.
- Turn on Show the picture’s name if you want the name written under the picture. Set Writing lines from 0 to 6 and choose a Letter style, Chunky or Rounded.
- Open Page settings to choose the paper (US Letter or A4), Orientation, Line weight, Page border, an optional Title on the page, and Number of pages (1 to 30).
- Press New design (or the N key) to get a new page with the same settings.
- Press Download PDF to save every page as one PDF, or press Print to print only the coloring pages.
Download PNG and Download SVG save page 1 only. Copy link copies an address that reopens the same page, which is useful for sharing a design.
What is the difference between a shamrock and a four-leaf clover?
A shamrock has three leaves and is the symbol of Ireland most linked with St. Patrick’s Day. A four-leaf clover is rare, has four leaves, and is a symbol of good luck.
The set includes both, so you can color them side by side and compare the shapes. Count the leaves before you start, since the four-leaf clover has one extra leaf.
What colors are used for St. Patrick’s Day?
Green is the color most linked with St. Patrick’s Day, so it is the natural choice for the shamrocks, the four-leaf clover and the leprechaun’s hat. Gold suits the gold coins and the pot of gold.
The rainbow comes from the leprechaun story of a pot of gold at the rainbow’s end, so the rainbow colors fit that picture well. The outlines are black and the insides are white, so the final colors are always your choice.
Can I make a card?
Yes. Choose Folding card as the layout. The sheet is split by a dashed fold line. One half has the picture and headline, and the other half has To: and From: lines and a box for a message.
Print the sheet, color the picture half and fold it along the dashed line. Write your message inside the box, then add names on the lines.
Is it free?
Yes. The tool is free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your web browser. Nothing you make is uploaded.
Each picture is drawn by the site’s own code. No images are copied from other websites or picture collections, and no cartoon characters from films or TV appear on the pages.
Can I color it online?
Yes. Press Color it online to open the same picture in the site’s online coloring tool. You can also download the PDF and color on paper.
The online tool opens the picture you chose, so you can switch between the screen and paper without starting over.
Frequently asked questions
Can I print these pages at home?
Yes. Choose US Letter or A4 under Page settings, then press Print. Only the coloring pages are printed.
